Of course
the song for today has to be “Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel. A great song.
It’s on several soundtracks of movies I enjoy and I can’t help but sing
along when I hear it. Gotta hit those
harmonies. And just typing this reminds
me that my move also allowed me to be able to request a guitar. So, hopefully I’ll be harmonizing for real
someday soon.
I am glad to
report that I was the WCF library’s version of “Employee of the Month” for
April. I know. You’re jealous. It did make me think though. That’s the first time I’ve ever been employee
of the month. Now I also don’t remember
any where I’ve ever worked having an Employee of the Month incentive. Either that or my work was so unimpressive that
I was never in the running – therefore not made aware of the possibility of
winning. I would think Subway would have had one, but I guess not.. Or maybe I hope not, since I didn’t ever win. Anyway, I’ve won one now and nothing says
accomplishment like a butterfly outlined piece of pink construction paper with
my name sharpied on it. I have arrived!
Now that I
have moved I do plan on “blogging” a lot more.
Not having to deal with the stress of G Unit hopefully will free me up a
little mentally. Thanks for
reading. Thanks for staying. Thanks for praying.

function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of
